Antique/vintage early Venetian needle lace reshaped into 19C collar:

This is a 19th century collar made from some beautiful fine early Venetian needle lace. Sadly the lace has many broken brides and small holes. Ivory colour. Inner neck measures 44 ins. Back neck to edge 11 ins.This came to me as part of a small lace collection which had belonged to Christian Maul Anderson (ne Jardin). Some of the pieces had been tacked to blue tissue for a display of some kind.
