Antique vtg c1880s Victorian Brass GAS LIGHT Wall Sconce & Etched Glass SHADE:

19th Century Gas Light sconce with electric socket instead of a gas burner. The gas parts were NOT drilled or changed as far as we can tell.Extends about 15\" out from wall. The brass cover for the mounting bracket is 3\" diameter and is not original to the arm. The internal (hidden) iron mounting bracket looks modern, probably from when it was polished and electrified in the 1960s-70s. Period etched glass Shade included. 5\" tall x 7-1/2\" diameter. The shade ring (not original to the arm but old) holds a 5\" fitter, which is a little bigger than most shades of this style. There is normal wear from age and use on the surface. There are some small dents, but overall the shiny brass has a copper color and looks great.
