This special and rarepiece was purchased at an sale after Mohammad Reza Shah left Iran. The circular \"control\" stamp is dated 1323 AHS which is same as 1944.Also the crown depicted in the embroidery is that of the Pahlavi dynasty which was est. 1926.

It\'s been kept well for the past 35 years by one famousjeweler family.

It\'s most likelyembroidered withsilver threads and tiny pearls. I was told it was a Koran cover at the king\'s palace.

There are marks and stains on the fabric and shows a little wear but the emblem part looks great as you can see in the pictures. There is also a stamp of the regime on the back. The last picture shows the back.
