4 foot figures plus accessories - unpainted plastic model kit figures still on their original sprues in unopened box

These retired figures were produced by Aoshima in Japan around 1980. This lot features 1 mint-boxed set in a mint, sealed box which has never been sold before and which has never been opened.

Set includes 2 seatedand 1 standing senior Samurai being briefed by a lesser Samurai, who is using amap to illustrate his points. All are dressed in traditional costume and wear 2swords. In addition there is a multi-piece setting which includes a lamp,a brazier, a writing kit, several loose swords and a background screen. The art in the photos shows the box cover andseveral suggested setups of the completed models. Each Aoshima set includes a group ofmulti-piece figures, and several also contain accessories and larger scenicsettings. Every box includes full step-by-step assembly diagrams, detailedcolor painting guides for decoration and photos of the set in assembled andpainted form, sometimes incorporated into a larger diorama with other sets fromthe series. As the Era of the Samurai lasted from the Middle Ages through themiddle of the 19th Century, this kit can be used over a span of 800 class=\"MsoNormal\">
