Late 2012 Mac Mini - QUAD core i7 in absolutely new condition. This was purchased to function as a music server for a high end audio system, however buying the audio system has bankrupted me and now I\'m selling it all, including this gem that has never been used (only time spent to load the latest OS and software).
It has been stored in a box in a closet all this time. A crying waste of money!
It is built to the highest spec QUAD CORE specifications available at the time. Comes with TWO internal drives, one is a fast SSD and the other is a 1TB standard hard drive.The SSD especially wakes up the machine and it boots in around 20 seconds - fast.It has 16GB of fast RAM bought from OWC (macsales.com) which is the maximum installable.
There are no issues. This is one fine mac mini in as new condition, no defects, no scratches, no excuses.
You cannot get a Quad core for the mini from Apple at this time, and the slightly higher clock speed they offer in their optional i7 dual core does not make up for less cores. Once you\'ve used a quad-core machine like this there is no going back!
When the machine was bought, all the options came to around $1800+ and that is still true for today\'s 2015 mac mini, however, as mentioned you cannot get the quad core option anymore. So I think this is a pretty sweet machine and a good deal.
Also, I understand the new mac mini is not upgradeable - you have to pay crazy Apple prices to get a high end mini.
I have priced the machine insanely low for a quick sale. You would be crazy not to consider this seriously!
A sure and safe bet on an excellent, competitive mac mini.
Comes with a fresh copy of the latest Mac OS plus many software packages that I can\'t list here.
