Beautifully designed annual 1986 Arabia Kalevala pottery plate.
Kalevala Series from Arabiaran from 1976-1999. The motifs of the plates are based on the Kalevala, the 19th century work of epic poetry that has become the national epic of Finland. The back of each stoneware plate shows a section of the Kalevala in English, Finnish and Swedish.
This is the third plate from the series!

The plate is in excellent condition and measures 7 3/4\" x 7 3/4\".
