Rare, out of production Armour/Franklin Mint P-51A Mustang, 1st Air Commando Group, Burma, as flown by Col. Phillip \"Flip\" Cochran.1/48scale. Absolutely stunning details includingweathered lookgreen paint scheme(one of the few Armour/ FM models that I\'ve seen with weathering), highly researched, accurate insignia and markings and hand painted details!!!! To the best of my knowledge, this is the only \"A model\" of the P-51 ever produced, and this paint scheme is the ONLY version ever offered by Armour / Franklin Mint, soonce these are gone, there won\'t be anymore around. There are countless versions of P-51 B, C and D models available in diecast, so here\'s your chance toadd a rare piece of Mustang and diecasthistory to your Mustang collection!!!!!

These models are long sold out and are no longer being produced. They are rare and getting to be very hard to find. List for this particular model at one of the few sites that I\'ve found that has one is showing price at $225 US. Priced here to sell!!!!
Model is in Mint, As Newcondition. This particular modelhas only been out of box for inspection and photos since I purchased it. I just don\'t have room to display it and rather than it sitting in a box in storage I thought that I would offer it to someone who will enjoy it.Box is VGC with some shelf wear (see pictures)Would be a rare and great addition to anyWWIIaviation enthusiasts collection!!!!!As stated, the model comes as you see it in the pictures in the sale. Care will be taken to package the model as safely as possible so that it arrives in the condition as shown. It will be packaged carefully in a sturdy box with plenty of styrofoam packing material and will be prominently marked as fragile. That being said, I have no control over the treatment the package will receive during shipping. These models are made from diecast metal with some plastic parts that can occasionally be jarred loose during shipping. Usually, it only requires snapping the piece back into place or every once in a while a touch of glue to restore the model to as shown condition. I am a collector also, and have been on both ends of this situation, whether buying or selling an item. That is why I try to take extreme caution in packaging the items that I ship to minimize any chances of damage to your item. I will accept only PayPal for payment at this time. $15.00 shipping by USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, by UPS Ground or FedEx to United States addresses only. Shipping method will be chosen closest to advertised shipping cost.
