A stunning,Art Deco, glass and brass (lacquered brass?) ceiling light.

Ingreat condition for age.

Bestguess date-wise is 1930’s.

PossiblyFrench?

Writing on brown plastic bulb holder says, \"Made in England\" - this could refer to the electrical fittings only?

Glassis pale mint green with gold highlights.

ApproximateMeasurements: Height 53cm x Diameter 41cm.

Itemneeds to be professionally rewired.

Condition

THIS LIGHT FITTING NEEDS TO BE PROFESSIONALLY REWIRED.

Item is in very good,used condition. Wear commensurate with age and use.

There does not appearto be any damage to the glassware. The light fittings appear intact, apart from a small crack on one of the fittings - not detrimental. Thelacquered brass has worn off in places, particularly the ceiling stem. Alsosome age related tarnishing to the brass piping. There is some paint spatter tothe rose – which I presume is emulsion and will remove easily. Item is a bit dusty. Please see photos.

I have left inoriginal, untouched condition and will leave it to the buyer to restore. Thisis a pre-owned and pre-loved item, so is not in brand-spanking new condition.Having said all this, it is a great-looking and interesting item.
