For sale:
A gorgeous art deco (circa 1920s) diamond and sapphire brooch in 14k white gold. The brooch features amazingly detailed filigree and milgrain and is in excellent condition, especially for its age. There are three center diamonds with the largest measuring about 4.5 mm and the side two measuring about 4 mm. I don\'t know the exact specs but they appear bright white, perhaps around I-J in color. I can\'t see any inclusions with a 10x loupe. They appear to be diamonds cut around 1910 or so based on the larger culet.
The brooch also features another 45 melee single cut diamonds that add to the incredible sparkle. A conservative estimate for total carat weight from my jeweler is 1.75 ct, but it could realistically be over 2 because OECs are so deep. Finally, 3 French cut natural sapphires flank either side of the brooch. A truly stunning piece.
The brooch measures just over 2.5 inches by 1 inch at it\'s widest.
