This is an amazing original piece of Art Deco Carlton Ware in the rare Scimitar pattern. Absolutely stunning.Unfortunately the knob has been restored, i am not sure if this is the original knob and the gilt is dull on the knob and the star gilt from it. The underneath of the lid is fine.It is a shame because all of the enamel, gilding and colours are great and it still is an amazing piece.
