Wrap your wrist around this fabulous extra wide 5 strand cultured pearl bracelet measuring 1.5” wide and culminating in a natural untreated carved Burmese Jadeite Jade clasp. The Jade clasp is designed as a lotus leaf and root and hand-carved during the late Qing dynasty to the early Art Deco period (early 1900s). The lotus carving is designed in such a way as the top part of the lotus leaf rises gradually. Although the Jade carving is from the early 1900s, it is possible the bracelet was made in the Mid-century 1950s-60s when wide pearl bracelets became a fad. A bold and daring bracelet that measures 1.5\" wide by 6 3/4\" long and weighs a substantial 94 grams.

The bracelet is set in 14K gold and stamped 14K. The back of the clasp and the three large gold separators are beautifully designed in leaf motif.

The cultured pearls have lustrous cream color all evenly matched and measuring between 7.60 to 7.90 mm.

The Jade clasp measures 1 5/8” long by just under 1” wide measured at the widest point and approximately 5 mm thick measured from the thickest part (note that the thickness is uneven and some areas are less than 5 mm and cannot be measured due to the setting). The color is mottled green and white. There are a few old internal fissures, including along the edge, due to the age of the stone but no cracks and the stone is stable and supported by a well-made 14K gold setting.
