18k White Gold, Natural Diamond

Take her breath away with this beautiful vintage engagement ring! The high karat ring is an original from the Art Deco period, and is circa 1920\'s - 1930\'s. The ringshowcases a glittering diamond solitaire in an intricate filigreed mounting of 18k white gold. The face of the ring displays an Old European cut, natural diamond carrying a .24 carat weight, SI2 clarity, and K color. The diamond has a small chip in the corner next to the prong. A squared bezel of gleaming gold holds the sparkling diamond securely in place and gives it the illusion of larger size. Ribbing and a lovely milgrain border frame the diamond and give this piece nice textured and detail. For enhanced radiance, the diamond is ported from the underside to allow the free passage of light through the stone. The bridge and sides of the mounting showcase a lovely filigree design characteristic of the Art Deco era. Further displaying the meticulous craftsmanship of this bygone era, the bridge of the ring is adorned with floral details near the shank, leading to a contoured band of smoothly polished white gold. This timelessly lovely vintage ring is in great condition and would make a memorable gift for a fortunate recipient! Inside the band, an18k stamp verifies the gold purity composition. This ring weighs2.5 grams. The face measures3/8\" (9.8mm)tall and has a table height of1/4\" (6.7mm).
