Deco 1930s, STUNNING, Vintage Pierrot, Gypsum Plaster, Garniture Clock ! WOW what a piece and very rare ! I purchased this from the UK many years ago and it has been a much loved piece for many years. But due to down sizing, it time for it to find a new home.

This is a garniture clock, which means it comes in three separate pieces. This is made solely from old gypsum plaster, which is a finer plaster than regular plaster, to give it finer details when its cast.

I have applied gesso to the surface, to prevent deterioration to its surface, as it began to bloom on a small section.

The clock is working, but due to the clock hands being slightly bent, it stops the clock from progressing, but when it does decide to work, it keeps very good time.

So obviously the clock and clock face do need some attention. Over all this comes in wonderful vintage condition, no serious issues, no cracks, no dings,just some very minor surface scratches, which comes with normal age and use.

This is a perfect piece for those who are serious art deco collectors or those looking for a unique and special collectors piece. This is a soon to be antique of the future, so with care, this will increase in value and also would make for a lovely heirloom piece or even a wedding gift?
