Vintage Green Silk Embroidered Mushroom Fringe Flapper Dress
This amazing Art Deco green silk embroidered mushroom fringe flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a pastel mint green color raw silk crepe de Chine fabric, with black & white thread slip stitch embroidery work done in a abstract spiral snail and mushroom design pattern. There is black silk ribbon looped fringe trim accenting the top neckline, side and bottom skirt. This fabulous flapper loose fitting straight shift style dress has a black silk trim edging rounded scoop neckline and short sleeves with black band cuffs. The dress measures 47 inches long, with 44 inch hips, a 38 inch waist and 44 inch bust. It is in good condition. This is truly a rare and unique piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
