An Art Deco Stunning Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre Butterflies and Beetles Pattern Large Octagonal bowl by Daisy Makeig Jones,green,blue and brown streaky mottled Lustre colour inside with persian style flower and border motif to inside bottom of bowl,3 Large and small butterflies design all around inside of bowl,and red / burgundy and black mottled Lustre outside to bowl with 18 exotic butterflies and Beetles around outside of Bowl,with gold gilding butterflies,Beetles and trims and Borders,bowl rings well when lightly tapped,Wedgwood Portland Vase Factory marks to base,pattern number Z4827.

CONDITION REPORT

The Bowl is in excellent condition,has no damage,no chips,no cracks or restoration,no micro glaze crazing,gold gilding and enamels are in excellent condition,there is some wear and light surface scratches to centre panel at inside bottom of bowl, a couple of white scratches and white wear to outside Octagonal edge points of bowl on the red/ burgundy Lustre quite common on this colourway, bowl rings very well when lightly tapped,displays very well in a great shape and colourway,this will be a great addition to any collection or display; as with all the lots we list, we respectfully ask that buyers appreciated when offerding that these are antiques or items of age that have been used & displayed with associated wear.
