Moore Brothers of Stoke-on-Trent { 1872 - 1905 }Four cavorting Cherubs dance around the base, the base and font are decorated with a blooming cactus motif. Every Flower on font has one chipped petal, base has some fine cracks, there are repairs to one of the cherub\'s leg. The font is discolored from years of use, I have removed the dust and obvious soiling, Ihave not attempted to fully clean or restore. I think it is stunning as is.The bottom has the piece has an impression mark#595F MOORE
with a double ring, there are no other marks.7\" Square Base~17\" to top of Font~29\" tall to top of FinialHINKS Brass Hardware tops the font.Joseph Hinks was a British inventor, working in Birmingham. He patented improvements to oil lamps, marketing the resultant Duplex lamp.~Looks to have been converted in the 1940s
and has acloth covered cord.
The lamp is not working-I do not know why.
I am not qualified for electrical repairs/evaluations.

wish to restore, rewire, or leave as is.
