Here\'s a beautiful solid brass lamp made about 1900 in the European Art Nouveau or Jugendstil fashion. It features a pair of elephants with stylized trunks for handles. Probably Japanese made for the Western market. The vase portion of the lamp is 10.5\" tall and is 13\" tall with electrical fixture at the top. Diameter: 5\" inches.
CONDITION: Excellent condition, a few light dents and remnants of metal polish. There is a semi-circular cast brass piece that protrudes on one side, not sure if this was intentional or not, perhaps a casting flaw? I have noted it in the photo.
