Offeredfor sale by Caspar’s Place is an artnouveau sterling silver sauce or cream ladle in “Daffodil” introduced in 1900by Baker-Manchester. The foliatedesign on the back is as pretty as the floral design on the front. Theladle is marked with Baker-Manchester’s distinctive mark of an “M” flanked bytwo birds, and “STERLING.”

Theladle is not monogrammed. It is in good estatecondition, except for some odd damage or marks on the back of the ladle bowl –see photographs. In addition, it doeshave the patina of fine scratches to be expected with age and use. The piece’s price reflects itscondition. This delicate looking ladlewill make a lovely addition to any silver collection.

Theladle weighs approximately 0.52 troy ounces.It is roughly 5.875” long by 1.625” wide.
