I am selling many items collected by a 96 yr old Friend and Neighbor who was Born in 1919 and collected great Folk Art and Antiques all her life! Sadly, she is no longer with us, but was going strong right up to the end! She was always 1st in line at the Antique shows with dealers from all parts of the US, Church and Estate sales in the Metro Detroit area and also had a cottage “Up North” in Michigan. We attended her Rotary Awards dinner in 2012 where she received the “Distinguished Community Achievement” award!

Early in the 1940’s ,“Miss Jean” was in art school for a time in Chicago ..do not remember which school?

I am working with her daughter who is down-sizing the remaining collection as they have moved out of state to a smaller home.

Our friend’s collection was very large and she did not document many things, BUT SHE WAS NOT AFRAID TO SPEND $’s TO GET WHAT SHE WANTED!!
