A sweet and well made hand hammered brass and copper match book holder, with copper rivets. No makers mark. I have not polished this and it appears this could be the original patina although there is no way to tell.

Nice design. Sturdy. Untouched, as found. Have owned this about 10 years. Found in historic Oregon City, Oregon. End of the Oregon Trail and original capitol of Oregon.

C 1900. Arts and Crafts period. Mission.

Base is approx. 3.50 inches in diameter. About 4.50 inches tall. The top part is hand hammered brass, the bottom is hand hammered copper. Fluted edges.
