This doll is an original issue in the Portraits of Diana porcelain doll collection . Designed by artist Titus Tomescu.....Her featured gown was inspired by a gown worn at a state banquet in the Elysee Palace in France, and again at the Winter Garden in New York. It features a richly embellished bodice with the look of an attached cutaway bolero jacket. The bodice is worked with golden beads, cording and \"pearls\"applied in elaborate scrollwork. The skirt of the gown is a classic A- line silhouette in oyster satin, with a deeply inverted front pleat....
The edition\" Diana Visionary of style\" ended forever in the year 2002, at which time molds for this doll were broken and no more porcelain will ever be cast... This doll appears new and is wrapped and attached to box so I did not remove her for pictures. She comes with her COA, booklet, original box & shipping box.Her small handbag in pkg. is still stapled to inside of box. (NOTE that the tissue paper that folds across the doll is torn in places).
