These old Aster live steam trains are getting harder and harder to find. They were made in small numbers for a limited time and are rarely re-sold.
But I am selling off my collection of North American live steam locomotives.
Keep an eye on my listing in the coming weeks for Aster NYC Hudson and the Great Northern S2 both live steamers.
In this listing, I have the Mikado.
It was assembled from a kit ( not by me) and I assume it must have been steamed a few times, at least to test it. I have had it displayed on my shelf for the past couple of years, so I do not know what it would need to get it running again.
Cosmetically, it is very clean.
I have the original box and instructions as well as an Aster blower fan to help fire it up.
