About the Print: Each of my giclee prints are created by a professional giclee printing service which uses a fade resistant, large format printer to create these beautiful and vibrant reproductions of my original fanart. Prior to reproduction, my original artworks are usually created using color pencil, graphite, charcoal, oil pastel, watercolor, ink, oils, or acrylics. I use a variety of different mediums to create a variety of works for a multitude of genres. My art prints are reproduced on a high quality 100# glossy paper. All prints are hand signed, dated, and listed with the edition number. I have a personal registry for all of my reproductions and originals. I also offer custom personalization (if requested) which will be provided on the backside of the card. (See the photo example above.) Q: How do I request personalization on my artist signed ACEO/ATC print?A: Please message me directly during the check out process or after. If you would like a personal message, make sure to include the name and message you wish for me too address on the backside of the card.
Q: How will I receive my single card purchase?A: All single card purchases are sent out to buyers in an standard envelope, sealed inside with a soft cell plastic sleeve and small plastic water resistant pouch with my business card. I send single purchases in an 4x6\" stamped envelope, with NO TRACKING NUMBER/INFORMATION. I do not add cardboard, bubble wrap, or styrofoam to single card purchases.
Q: How will my multiple purchased be shipped?A: If you purchase more than 3 single card prints, your order automatically qualifies for USPS First Class. You order will be sent to you in a bubble envelope with tracking information and should arrive in about 2 to 5 days. Typically orders will arrive in two days. Any orders that do not arrive or get lost in the mailing process will automatically be refunded. Please contact me before leaving me unfair or vicious response, as I am not an unreasonable person and will always either refund you or supply you with a replacement.
Q: What are ACEOs and ATCs?A: Art Card Edition Originals (ACEOs) and Artist Trading Cards (ATC) are works of art that were popularized on . However, they have actually been around for over 500 years! Great artists such as Da Vinci or Rembrandt used to paint tiny portraits and landscapes on tiny pieces on leather, wood, or paper to use as a means of advertising their services, much like a business card. ACEOs and ATCs are the size of a standard playing card, which are typically signed, dated, and titled on the backside. ACEOs and ATCs can be produced by using a multiple mediums (oils, charcoals, pencil, charcoal, collage, mosaic, color pencil, oil pastels, foil, watercolors, giclee prints, etc). The sky is virtually the limit when it comes to creativity. These card are highly collectible and unlike baseball cards or other cards produced by a factory, you are purchasing a tiny, one of a kind piece of artwork or artwork print directly sold by the artist.
Q: What is fanart?A: Fanart is a work of art created by an artist who is a fan of a certain character derived from a movie, book, television show, anime, animation/cartoon, comic book, musical, and/or band/musician. A fanartist recognizes that the subject matter in which their art is based upon is clearly their own original artistic depiction of another artist\'s work and a fan artist always credits/acknowledges the original artist\'s concept. The purpose of fanart is to simply express the love or enjoyment they derive from these characters.
Q: What is a Giclee print?A: A giclee print is simply the reproduction of an artist\'s work that uses a fade resistant ink from a large format printer. These prints are quite popular and highly collectible because they preserve the image quality of the artist\'s work almost indefinitely.
Q: What is the difference between a limited edition print (LE) and an open edition print (OE)?A: A limited edition print will have an edition number provided on the backside/frontside of the artwork. For example, 2/300 may be written on a print or lithograph, this means that there are only 300 prints available of the artist\'s work and you own the 2nd print issued out of 300 (in this example). If a print or lithograph is considered open edition, the artist may mark the card (OE) to indicate that an unlimited number of prints or lithographs were produced and sold. Some collectors prefer limited editions over open editions because the value of limited prints are higher. However, if an artist should die or circumstances should prevent the artist from producing more prints, even open edition prints are highly coveted.
