This listing is for a beautiful French, Atelier Le Tallec, Limoges porcelain heart shape box made for Tiffany & Company. The box measures 1 3/4 inches or 4.4 cm high and is 3 3/4 inches or 9.5 cm at its widest. The box is a heart shape with gilt bronze mounts; it is hinged at the back and has a shell form clasp at the front. The porcelain has a cobalt blue ground and is hand painted with bouquets of white and pink flowers and green foliage, it is further enhanced with heavy applied gold highlights. The bottom is marked in red with a description in red, the Le Tallec and Tiffany & Co. mark in blue. This mark dates the piece to 1982.
