Antique 26\" SFBJ Tete Jumeau Doll, with Two Outfits. Found in an attic in France by a woman whose family owned it since first purchased, this doll is lovely. She has a small flaw at the side of one eye which could be repaired. She stands 26\" without her wig, and 28\" when wearing it. The body is in good condition but has been repainted and the paint is flaking off in places.To the best of my knowledge, there are no cracks, hairlines or repairs to her head. Her wig is black human hair. Stamped on the back of the head is: 25 France SFBJ 301 Paris Tete Jumeau. She is wearing a gorgeous antique or vintage white cotton embroidered long-sleeved dress trimmed with lace. Her shoes are soft white leather with button straps. Included is the outfit she arrived in, a light blue satin hand-made dress with lace bonnet, apron and jacket. She is wearing a pretty silver Catholic medallion on a necklace of tiny beads and a gold colored bracelet with two charms attached. Both the necklace and the bracelet came with her. This doll has been loved and now she needs a new caretaker.
