You are offerding on a rare and very attractive treen snuff box in the form of a frog, beautifully decorated to the body with allover herringbone incisions.

The base has a hinged cover, and the frog has later bead eyes.

A similar example can be found in Pinto\'s Treen and Other Wooden Bygones, see plate 368.

A superb addition to any treen or snuff box collection.

Condition

The snuff box is in excellent antique condition.
