This sale is for a scarce Augustus Rex figurine depicting a woman sitting with a bird\'s nest in her floral apron lap, holding a flower with another flower in a basket at her feet.
Lovely tilt to the head.
A very rare piece. There is some rubbing to some of the edges of the petals and the front of the leaf but in remarkable condition commensurate with age.
Hand painted.
Measures approx 10 cm tall.
Miessen.
This Miessen mark is often copied and this is most likely a last century copy from Germany. Still a rare piece for the collector though and suitable to enhance any collection.
