Aurora Watch Co. Aurora Illinois 18s, open face, 15 jewel pocket watch in very good condition. Watch case is hallmarked C.W.C. Co. PAT.APL 22.79 beautiful rich gold tone there are moderate signs of wear and a couple of dings in the back cover of watch case. Serial number on 15 jewel movement is marked No. 43306 dates this pocket watch to 1884. The design on the nickel movement is beautiful there is a slight rainbow toning that adds to the beauty of this movement. Dial is in very good condition with no hairline cracks. There is a small chip in the glass crystal near the 11. Very nice, heavy well made Aurora pocket watch it is like a piece of art. It is not in perfect condition it displays normal patina for 130 years old.
