Austrian cold painted bronze table salt, as a blackamoor figure, kneeling and holding a clam shell above his head. Impressed mark F.Bergman 1872. FranzBergman (1838-1894) was a professional chaser who founded a small bronze factory in Vienna in 1860. Good condition, no damage. Measures 8.5\" high. Will be sent by insured courier service.
