PART OF A WONDERFUL COLLECTION!This is a superb museum quality Austrian Vienna Bronze (Bronze de Vienne, Wiener Bronze, Cold Painted Bronze) It dates to c1900. The bronze is very possibly made by Bergmann although it is not signed. It clearly is of the highest quality of Vienna Bronzes.It features the most wonderful Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale character with the Big Bad Wolf - it is just adorable. The expressions on their faces are fantastic. The details are superb. Little Red has a red cape, a blue dress and a basket with bottle and apples. The wolf has a fantastic open mouth expression!. The expressions and motif are absolutely magical. One of the very best Vienna Bronzes with everything we look for. This is an antique vienna bronze, not a new reproduction! It is unsigned. There is no damage to the bronze. The paint is in fine period condition with minor loss as evidenced in the photos.
