Austro-Hungarian Hussar “Hadik” Saber:
$1495.00

This is a saber of the pattern used by the Hussars under the command of Count Hadik von Futok, famous for a cavalry raid that captured Berlin in 1757 during the Seven Years War. This is the real thing, unlike the cheesy reproductions for sale on the internet which look like they would have been worn by Elton John or Liberace. There is no scabbard and the condition shows use (see photos). On each side of the blade there is an image of the double headed Austro-Hungarian coat-of-arms (double headed eagle and shield). Shipping is $20.Insurance extra; based on final value. Three day inspection; buyer pays return postage + appropriate insurance.
