Hand Warmer from the Korean War – issued to soldiers for the frosty nights marching in Korea.

You put butane in the bottom, light it—replace cover—then it stays lit and can be slipped in your inside uniform pocket to provide warmth, or cup in your gloved hand.

I do not know whether it will work—but I suspect it will because it stills has all the original inserts in the shell… the pad where the butane goes and the wick area.

The metal is chrome covered stainless steel,and the hand warmer is marked \"Made in Japan and “Pat Pend” on one side and \"BUDDY\" on the other.

Measure 2 1/2 inches wide and 3 3/4inches tall-

it is just 1/4 inch thick...

I have not polished this so I supposeit will shine even brighter if you do so.
