This breathtaking prayer rug is hand knotted with 100% silk. I purchased it during a trip to Istanbul in July 2012 (shortly after it had been completed). This Prayer rug took over 2 years to make with its Impeccabledetail, brilliant colors and stunningly crafted. Clean edges and the fringe is in perfect shape. I have included a photo of the womanwho made this rug as well as a photo of the original paper pattern. I am the original owner, it has neverbeen kept out for use or even for display. It is 46.5” by 34” (roughly 4 ft by 3ft) with approximately 650 knots per inch.
