This gorgeous scarf was an estate sale find, part of a largeHermès scarf collection. It measures 35\" x 35\" -- it is square. it has beautiful, hand-rolled and stitched edges. The scarf is red with an elaborate print celebrating Texas Wildlife. There is a longhorn bull with a blue banner on either side of him; one side says Faune et Flore Du Texas and the other says Texas Wildlife. The center animal is a huge, splendid turkey.Hermès is in golden yellow on the bottom left corner, over a pink banner. The artist\'s name, Oliver, is on a green leaf on the lower edge to the right of the bull. Kermit Oliver is the only American artist ever to design forHermès, which makes this scarf a real treasure for American, and especially Texan, enthusiasts. The scarf is pre-owned but was well cared for. I see a very faint yellowish mark in the sky a couple inches to the right of the turkey\'s head -- look closely and you may see it. I did not have this cleaned, and in any case, the mark is hard to notice. No holes or tears, really lovely. The owner had such an enormous collection, I doubt any of herHermès scarves was worn very much, because she had so many to rotate. This one was neatly folded in a drawer in her closet....a closet as big as my bedroom!

I\'ve added two new photos. One shows the reverse of the scarf flipped over on to the front so you can compare. I would say it is slightly lighter on the back side. The other photo shows a close up -- as close as I can get -- of the rolled hem. The border is a very dark blue to my eye.

In response to question: YES, the C (for copywright)Hermès mark is also on the scarf. Look at the 6th photo, with the pelicans in the nest...the CHermès mark is on a green leaf to the left of the nest in the photo.
