Authentic Irish Blackthorn Walking Stick/ShillelaghCASEY\'S ARE RENOWNED FOR CRAFTING THE BEST SHILLELAGHS IN IRELAND.This is an absolutely stunning Blackthorn Shillelagh.Beautiful solid Blackthorn Knob stick finished in a black lacquer on the body. The head has a blend of oils and yacht varnish to bring out the beautiful, natural Blackthorn colours.A great stick to walk with.It\'s a very comfortable stick to hold, if you are left handed or right handed, with it\'s smooth head that fits perfectly in the palm of the hand and has a nice balance of thorn notches throughout the body.This Shillelagh is very strong. It\'s fitted with a brass ferrule, but if you would prefer a non-slip rubber ferrule, that can be fitted free of charge.A really beautiful Shillelagh walking stick.In Ireland the Fox Hunting Fraternity carried this type of Shillelagh many years ago while riding on horseback throughout the countryside.I have been handcrafting Blackthorn Walking Sticks for 40 years and take great pride in my work.Weight: 1 lb 8oz Length: 35 inches.Length can be shortened to suit, free of charge, without the Walking Stick losing it\'s integrity.
