Authentic Pan American World Airways Flight Purser uniform from the 1940\'s-1950\'s--this uniform was worn approximately during the 1940\'s through approximately the 1950\'s as the original flight purser uniform, before the style of the uniform was changed. The material is possibly gabardine, and the jacket and slacks are in excellent condition with no signs of wear and tear on the fabric. The jacket is a size 40 and the slacks are waist size 35\", inseam 29 1/2\". The hat has a patent leather bill and the top is of a white starched linen. The hat is adorned with the original PAA blue and gold emblem with the Americas on it --a pin which is placed in the front center of the hat. The hat also has decorative \"pins\" on either side of the braiding. The jacket is worn with the \"wings\" pin on the left pocket. These decorative items are included with this uniform. The jacket also has gold braided trim on the cuff of each sleeve. Made by All-BILT uniform corp. of New York.
