This unique bellydancing belt has seventeen10-11\"strands of feathered dangles that hang like a skirt from coin shaped rounds highlighted with red and blue glass gems with bell like ends and coins that wrap around the waist. The mannequin in the pics is a size 14 and the belt is on a 28\" rope.
The beautiful pieces of Kuchi Jewelry originally came from the nomadic Pashtoon tribes that wandered the border areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan, along ancient routes between the seasons, moving down from the mountains in the winter and back to their homes in summer.The word Kuchi itself is derived from a Persian word meaning migration, in relation to nomads or gypsies, and does not describe a particular group or people, but rather a state of being. Many different peoples or tribes from these areas have been classified as Kuchi.
The jewelry of these wandering peoples incorporates design elements from many cultures including those of India, the Middle East, Central Asia and the tribal areas of the former Soviet Union. These jewelry artists used coins, bells, metal alloy, silver, and large colorful glass jewels to produce lovely chokers, necklaces, pendants, cuff bracelets, belts, rings, earrings, headpieces and more, completely by hand, often in centuries old designs.
Kuchi jewelry, like the jewelry of India and other tribal places and peoples, often uses jewels of transparent colored glass set in beeswax and backed with foil to reflect light in every shade of the rainbow. The metal is made using ancient techniques by tribal artisans. It make these peices is known as \"Pot\", \"Coin\", or \"Tribal\" Silver and is a combonation of old melted down coin, brass and nickle.Shining mirrors, metallic thread, colorful beads, pom poms, thousands of different kinds of dangles are also used to attract the eye.

The lengths of the dangles are not all exactly the same length. Although the lengths vary, they are all within an inch of each other.These are not considered flaws and add to the overall look of the items. In some cases the jewelry has been repaired or peices have been replaced in order to present you with a finished peice. Please inspect the pics carefully so you can offer with confidence. You will receive the actual item pictured.
Your item will be shipped within 1 business day of receiving payment via USPS First Class Mail. We use Paypal exclusively and expect your payment within five business days of purchase, unless we have agreed upon another arrangement. Without your agreement to end the sale I cannot be refunded the fees charges me unless I open a case. A note about shipping charges: Please understand that sellers are charged a fee based upon the cost of the shipping, even if you pay for the shipping, from both Paypal and which adds up to 14% of the total shipping cost. This fee, packaging, office supplies for labels and such, as well as gas to the post are all part of your shipping fees. Fortunately, I only add a small charge to your actual shipping cost. Unless otherwise stated, I will never charge more than $2, and most often quite a bit less, for your handling. This charge is added in to your shipping. My costs are lower than average and I pass this savings along to you. If your shipping seems high it is usually because the size of the item and in those cases we have no choice but to charge what is required from us. I will always offer you the lowest shipping rate and upon your request will combine shipping providing you let me know as soon as possible and wait for an invoice before paying. Otherwise I might inadvertantly package your items incorrectly. Free shipping does not apply to international buyers.

I accept returns within 14 days of purchase with no questions or negative response, providing that you pay the return shipping and the item arrives in the same condition as when it left. Once the item returns to me without any problems, I will refund your money immediately. If there are extenuating circumstances we will work something out.
I offer holiday returns on all my items. Any items purchased between November first and December thirty-first can be returned for refund up until the thirty-first of the New Year. This extension is for gift return conveinience.
