Awesome bisque doll for the French market of the German manufacturer Bähr and Pröschild, mrked 261 dep. The doll is of ends of s.XIX, according to the marks between 1888-1895.
16,4\" (41 cm) height. Bisque head delicately colored, spectacular blue eyes in enamel with spiral, holes in the ears for earrings, lips in degraded rouge. Original body in wood and composition of rigid wrists. Wig of mohair. It is a doll of exceptional beauty.
To noticing: small chip on the eye, form a hairline in the forehead. Hairline in the back head. The body has small damages for the age; the forearms seem to be glued to the balls, though they articulate well.
