Up on the sale block is a sweet late 1930\'s early 1940\'s Spalding model 3129 black leather football helmet!As the photos show, it is in game used but great condition (see all photos)! The leather is soft and supple but still very strong. It has a great look and nice shine!It has it\'s intimidating 100% originalpatina!No dyes, colored polishes, or coloring of any kind used. There are gridiron battle scars through out but no major damage. The leather interior of the helmet is in great condition. It is nice and soft and supple with no damage and only light signs of wear. All of the inner suspension straps are present and firmly attached. There is a Spalding makers logo on the back center of the helmet along with the model number. Spalding is also marked on the inner suspension strap connecting pad along with the size 7 1/4.Wood display stand is not included.This awesomeantique Spalding football helmetwill look fantastic displayed in your home, office, sports room, etc!
