One of my favorite serving pieces and it always gets people talking when I serve with it. It ismeant to be a thermos, butit is missing the stopper and I have always usedit as apitcher.The inner part is a pinkish mercury looking glass encased in a metal housingand it has been completely encased with woven plastic cording. The handle is made of some kind of bamboo or reed as far as I can tell. It is very well made and the bottom little metal feet unscrew so that the pitcher can come out for cleaning. It easures9 inches high and is 17 inches around the pitcher part. Please see above and all photos for complete details.
