Item {\"Girl with Chickens\" (#2220) by (B & G) Bing & Grondahl is a nice figurine of a young woman feeding her chickens. It is quite tall at 9 1/4\" and was designed by Axel Locher, signed in the mold. Based on the information contained in the backstamp this example was made around 1950 (1948 - 1951) and is now discontinued making it very hard to find if not rare. Despite its age it is in \"like new\" condition, no chips, crazing, cracks, etc. It is a factory 1st quality with no scratch through the mark.
