DESCRIPTION FOR THIS sale

Nice high-grade copy of Batman #195 published by DC Comics in September, 1967. This Silver-Age 12-cent comic features Batman and Robin in \"The Shark-Spangled See-Through Man!\". This is a sharp comic with very minor surface, spine, and edge wear. Flat and square with sharp color and gloss and supple off-white to cream pages and cover. Very little wrong with this one. Multiple minor stress lines on the spine are about all that holds it back from being CGC worthy. I put the comic somewhere in the VF- 7.5 to VF+ 8.5 range but you can look over the high resolution scans and make your own call on that. Bagged and boarded. This is part of a large collection I bought 14-years ago. The original owner was a mentally challenged individual and comic books were about the most sophisticated literature he could read. He would buy them new, read them once very carefully (and, if the subject matter was too challenging, he did not even read them) and then put them in a box with his other comics (he had thousands). He was a fascinating middle-age man when I met him and bought his books. He put me to shame with his knowledge of the story lines in those comics. Since it took him awhile to read a comic, one of the most common flaws of the collection is light fingerprints.

Be sure and check my other sales. I will be listing tons of Golden, Silver, and Bronze Age comics - most in attractive lots.

SHIPPING

[IMPORTANT] - I will combine shipping for multiple purchases. If you do win more than one sale, please wait for an invoice so I can combine the shipments. will not allow combined shipping once payment has been made. (I will even wait a week or so to combine sales if you plan on offerding on something in the current week - just let me know.)

INTERNATIONAL buyers! has made it so difficult to ship internationally that I have decided to exclude all non-USA sales. I tried \'s \"Global Shipping Program\" but ran into a major issue with combined shipping so I have opted out of it. Sorry folks!

ABOUT GRADING

Insofar as grading is concerned, just check my response profile: 2900+ with 100% positive over more than 15 years on - most of which involved sales of comics. If I screw something up I make it right. However, I do not guarantee individual grades on large lots. Like any other skilled grader, I will not be 100% on the mark all the time so I do not want to get into debates about one or two comics out of a hundred being off by a grade. Large lots typically sell for bargain prices so no nitpicking allowed. CGC, on the other hand, is on them. I do not back CGC grading. That is their job. I do adhere to current Overstreet grading standards. You comic folk out there should be familiar with that but, if not, you can bone up on it here \"\'s Overstreet Grading Guide\". All of you non-comic folk can get a quick general overview here \"Dan\'s Quick and Dirty Comic Book Grading Guide\".
