Battani 11\" Louis XVI Style Gilt Gold Roses Ormolu Glass Jewelry Casket Box Vintage - This Stunning Vintage Hollywood Regency Brassy Gold Metal & Beveled Glass Vitrine Casket Dresser Chest by Battani MUSI Associates is in Vintage Condition.Offered is this spectacular jewelry casket vitrine in glass and metal. It has a rectangular form with canted corners, with clear, beveled glass top and sides. The gilt metal mounts are decorated with rose blossoms and leaves, and it sits on 4 scrolled feet. It stands 4 ½ “ high and is 11” long and 4 ½” wide. It has a red velvet lined base. One exactly like this one sold on sale recently for over $500.00. This outstanding and super rare collectible has sustained some damage over the years. The back glass panel is missing and needs to be replaced. It also has a couple loose joints that should be resoldered at some point. If you are going to use this solely for displaying your fine jewelry or miniatures these things do not need to be done. It holds together just fine and is so elegant and lovely as is. If you wish to repair it, I am sure you would fetch quite a bit more money than we are asking for it.
