A book originally published in 1867, \"embracing the operations of the Army of Northern Virginia, from the first battle of Fredericksburg to the death of Lieutenant-General Jackson\". Offers a moving and detailed account of operations, written just three years afterwards.
The copy for sale is from the limited Butternut & Blue edition of about 1985, an exact facsimile reproduction of the original text (which is now almost impossible to find). This is#215 of only 600 copies ever printed.
This is a sharp, lightly used copy with only minor handling to the covers; sound binding and excellent interior. As usual for this edition, the separate packet containing maps is missing. Still a very rare and desirable collector\'s item.
Hardcover, about 6\" X 9.25\", 152 pages plus a frontispiece and six-page modern introduction. Ships promptly & securely.
