With such charming decoration it was most probably the property of a mademoiselle!
The handle is natural material and the intricate silver metal applique is a wonderful scrolled and curled display of acanthus leaves and scrolls.
The handle is all intact with no cracks and wear and the stamp itself looks like CC or CR.
Height 8.4cms
Base diameter 1.1cms
A beautiful and genuine period seal for any vieille maisom display.Please not that colour resolution can vary from pc to pc so please check if you have any questions.
