Offering this BEAUTIFUL, ANTIQUE, VICTORIAN, LADIES, STEAMER DOME TOP TRUNK OR CHEST. I really hate to let it go but we are down-sizing and I no longer have the room for it. We believe it is totally original except that the leather handles appear to have been replaced. I have never seen a trunk in this kind of un-restored condition in such good shape. It does show the kind of wear & dings you would expect from a trunk of this age. All trays are intact and the 5 Victorian pictures are beautiful. It even includes a special compartment for the ladies hat! Part of the lock shows dates of MAR 69 - APR 77; obviously showing it was made sometime in the 1800\'s after April of 1877. No signs of moisture or water damage as seen in so many old trunks. There is no key for the lock; but I\'ve been told that it\'s not hard for a locksmith to make one. It measures about 32\" long by 21\" deep and 29 - 30\" tall. Pictures are always the very best description! Please use the magnification feature so that you can see the details of the item better.
