Description

This is a beautiful original French hand painted gouache design or cartoon on heavy paper. It is a design for jacquard woven tapestry I think, and came from Lille. It isn\'t dated but came with a batch dated to the 1920s, a super hand painted design for reference, it would look great framed. They are a little dusty and grubby from storage.

It measures about 20\" by 14.75\" or 51 cm by 38 cm. This was a working design, so there may be some signs of wear & tear commensurate with age & use, with possibly some creases, tears, patination, marks, please see photos.
