A beautiful Victoriansterling silver tea caddy canister. Both the lid and base are hallmarked for Sheffield1892 with the maker’s marks being HA for Atkin Brothers. It has beenbeautifully made having an ornate shape with a classical Georgian style engraved design. It isin super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs - just two microscopic marks near the bottom edge see final photo. The lid fitstightly forming a very good seal. It measures over 2.25 inches (6cms) wide by over3 inches (8cms) tall by almost 2 inches (4.7cms) front to back and weighs 59 grams.A beautifully made high quality piece.
