A beautiful German solid silver snuff box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon andcrown state symbols followed by the 800 standard mark and the makers mark of WP.I would date it to c1920-1930. It has been beautifully made being of oval form with ribbed sides and flower embossed lid. It is in super condition beingfree from dings splits holes and repairs. The inside is clean and gilded and thelid forms a good tight seal. It measures 2.25 inches (6cms) across by 1.5 inches front to back by approx. 0.75 inch tall and weighs 24 grams.A beautifully made piece.
