A beautiful silver gilt snuff/ pill box. It is marked 800 and tests as high-grade silver and dates to c1920-1940,most likely made in Italy. It has been beautifully madehaving engraved gilded sides with natural blonde material lid and base. It is insuperb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The hingeworks perfectly and it snaps shut forming a good seal. It measures over 1.5 inches(3.9cms) wide by over 1 inch (2.7cms) wide by 0.5 inch (1.4cms) tall and weighs19 grams. A beautiful quality piece.
